URI GELLER’S GUIDE TO A SUNNY GLASTONBURY

WHAT TO DO: “What we’re trying to do is to focus our minds, at 11am and 11pm on the Thursday before Glastonbury, for one minute. I’m using the palm of my hand as a tool for our minds, but before you place your hands on mine you must stare into my eyes.”

“Now, the reason I’ve chosen 11 is that it’s a very powerful mystical number, and I believe it’s a gateway to the universe. Whether you close your eyes or keep them open is up to you, but you have to visualise in your inner eye a very beautiful blue sky with white clouds and the sun shining and green grass around, and trees. Try to amass all your Mindpower, your energy, your vibrations, your frequency, and will it to happen.”

“And you can say to yourself, almost like a mantra, ‘It’s going to be a beautiful day, it’s going to be a beautiful day, it’s going to be a fantastic and bright weekend.’ Continue visualising this tremendously powerful sunshine and all I’m asking is to do it for 60 seconds. Some of you will find it quite humorous or bizarre, but nevertheless do it – you’ve nothing to lose. Whatever the outcome, I guarantee this experiment will bring a smile to your face.”

“As well as all this, I will be focussing my Mindpower with you together for the three days. I’ll have the paper with me all the time and I’ll be connecting with you, together. It would be possible to sabotage the festival using a similar technique – negativity is manufactured by mankind, and yes, you could think of negative thoughts, but why should you? We’re in this together to make it happen and to make it work and there’s no doubt in my mind that positivity will win over negativity.”

“Uri Geller gave an absolutely resonating talk on his life and career. He had every single magician in the room on the edge of their seats trying to digest as much information as they could. Uri emphasized that the path to frame is through uniqueness and charisma and that professional entertainers must be creative in their pursuits of success and never shy away from publicity.”

Tannens Magic Blog

“The man is a natural magician. He does everything with great care, meticulous misdirection and flawless instinct. The nails are real, the keys are really borrowed, the envelopes are actually sealed, there are no stooges, there are no secret radio devices and there are no props from the magic catalogues.”
