Are odd goings-on due to Uri effect ?

Strange things have been happening to spoons and watches at Poole Pottery since Uri Geller arrived.
Bent spoons are turning up and company boss Peter Mills now keeps a close eye on his watch after it changed time following a handshake with the famous “paranormalist”.
Poole Pottery has signed an exclusive contract to produce Uri’s designs on plates, chargers and vasesusing the pottery’s successful Living Glazre range.
His designs are influenced by Picasso, Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol – all artists he has met.
“I have been painting for more than 40 years and these people influenced my style”, he said. “When I bent something for Salvador Dali he started painting bent clocks.”
“Now scientists are discovering, besides conventional medicine, the power of the mind to heal the body and I try to bring that into my art.
“I try to ignite the power of love in man and woman – my designs transmit the spiritual thread that runs through our lives.”
Uri is experimenting with incorporating rock crystals and the collectable pieces are being launched at a trade show this weekend.
Pottery sales manager Larry Ewin said : “These will be some of the last things to come out of the old factory and will be some of the first produced at the new site.”
Peter Mills, managing director, said : We see Uri’s work with us as ongoing – we hope it will be a long lasting relationship. There is even talk of creating a range of cutlery which would be great fun to market, with Uri’s spoonbending capabilities.”
