A natural healing exhibition saw people from across south Essex flock to the Southend to hear the teachings of Uri Geller. The famous expert on the paranormal delivered a 90-minute lecture, based on his latest book Mind Medicine, at the leisure and tennis centre in Garon Park, off Eastern Avenue. An audience heard how to create a perfect balance between body and spirit and “to harness the formidable healing power of your own mind” at the exhibition. Organiser Julie Saunders, from Colchester-based Natural healing, saif : “This is the first event we’ve held in Southend, and we’ve had an excellent response.
