Radio shutdown shock by Geller

Heart FM presenter Jonathan “Jono” Coleman was lost for words today when an experiment by psychic guest Uri Geller sent the radio station off the air for eight seconds.

The Heart signal disappeared at the precise moment Uri asked its listeners to reach out through their radios.

Sceptical morning show presenter Coleman admits has been forced to reassess Uri’s powers by the cut-out, which baffled Heart engineers.

“I had been taking the mickey a bit, but this was just amazing,” he said.

Even Uri was taken by surprise by the effect, which he had not planned. “It actually amazed me too. I thought Jono’s morning crew were pulling my leg.”
