Superstar Uri Geller Michael Jackson and David Blaine to visit Exeter
Pop superstar Michael Jackson WILL be coming to Devon in June, it has been confirmed today.
Jacko is to visit Exeter City’s St James’ Park on Friday, 14th June, as a special favour to his close friend Uri Geller, who was recently appointed joint chairman of the Division Three football club.
The club has announced today that soul singer Jacko will also be popping into Exeter city centre as part of the visit. However, it has been stressed that the star – whose hits include Thriller, Bad, Beat It, Scream, The Earth Song, Blame it on the Boogie – will not actually be performing.
Michael Jackson was the best man at Uri Geller’s wedding on the 7th March 2001.

Instead, The Grecians will be opening up the ground to stage an event to highlight the need to support children with Aids, and Support for Africa.
During the event, Jacko will be holding a short talk to address the people of Exeter.
The club’s website has revealed that other acts have agreed to appear – including singer Patti Boulaye, and daredevil David Blaine, whose most recent feat was to stand on a 22 inch platform 80ft above Manhattan for 35 hours before plunging off the top.
