Team Alyssa

Dear Uri,

You recently sponsored a charity event created by Joe Curcillo to benefit Team Alyssa and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My name is Honi Kibler and Alyssa is my daughter who is 33 and has Cystic Fibrosis. Each year we participate in a Walk for CF called Great Strides and raise funds to fuel research and medical advances for Cystic Fibrosis patients. Joe’s Mind Shark event raises money specifically for Team Alyssa and we are forever grateful to him for his generosity and love for our team and cause. The Walk will be held this coming Sunday and I’m proud to say Team Alyssa has far surpassed our original goal of $15,000, and hoping for much more. The scientific progress in the field of CF has been nothing short of astounding this past year, all due to generous donors like yourself. We have been saying CF=Cure Found for many years. They now predict that will be in 2020. We are so proud that 90 cents of every dollar goes directly back to research, the best of all medical charities.

So thank you again for your generosity and support for Joe and in turn Team Alyssa. We can’t express how much it means to us. Alyssa herself had to miss Joe’s Mind Shark event last week, she’s been the hospital for a month. She is very sick and rather frail at this point, but her fighting spirit and positive attitude fuel our efforts to find that cure so no children born today with CF will have to go through what she has her entire life.
