Subject: Lost ring
I have lost a treasured ring, worth little in monetary value but worth much in my heart. I bought it as a student in 1972 in Salamanca, Spain. I believe it was on the floor, vacuumed up and thrown away. Dr. Edgar Mitchell’s assistant suggested I contact you.
I am only a teacher, unable to afford large sums, but a ring that cost $16 in 1972 represents the promise of my happiness and youth so many years ago, and still today.
What can I do? I have seen your work and I know that mind definitely can control matter.
I’ll do what I can to return the favor if I can get some clue as to the location of my beloved ring.
Thank you, Mr. Geller. I have been a fan of yours for many years. Skeptics don’t get it. I feel badly for those who don’t believe in things they cannot explain. Theirs is a world without poetry or magic.

Mr. Geller:
I would never be upset at you over such a thing.
As a teacher, I grieve for the suffering of the all the world’s children. Even many of my own students have monsters who are real, and they have far more than the children who have never known safety or peace in their own homeland.
Israel is in my prayers, as it always has been.
Thank you for putting this into perspective for me. You are right. I knew it anyway, but your words are in my heart.
Blessings to you,
x
