LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

SHAME: I am not an active supporter of Reading FC (Letters, last week). Regrettably, I had a falling out with the chairman of Reading at the beginning of the season. With my support, the team reached Wembley for a Premiership place play-off. I was convinced I could help them into the Premier League this season. Sadly, I have been forced to watch from a distance as they slide towards relegation. It is a great shame – I did not need to see my powers confirmed in this way.
