While filming URI GELLER’s life story in Geller’s native Israel, British director KEN RUSSELL failed to learn how the psychic strong man managed to bend spoons, one of his noted feats. Nor was Geller helpful at curling the metal bars of a fence. Geller, now 46, vows he does not understand his powers: “Every day I wake up and try to piece together this puzzle I’m living in. The truth is, we know nothing.” Echoes Russell: “Only God knows, and he’s not telling.”
