Turning off a Lamp Post with Mind Power

Is it really possible to turn off a street light with mind power?

This is a phenomenon known as SLI “street light interference” which is something currently being studied. Uri isn’t the only person who appears to have this effect on lamp posts, in fact you may be able to do it yourself! Just try it, ensuring of course that in doing so you’re not going to be putting yourself or anyone else in any danger due to the sudden lack of light. 

This ability to cause changes in electrical devices isn’t restricted to lights. Uri discovered in the early 1970s when being tested at Stanford Research Institute, that he had the ability to cause various changes in various different devices, including being able to wipe floppy disks and move compass needles with mind power.
