YOUNG Jamie Patrick couldn’t believe his luck when a family friend took him on a trip to meet master-of-the-paranormal Uri Geller.
The youngster suffers from pathays disease, a form of arthritis, and the renowned psychic even tried to use his powers to heal him.
Jamie was taken to the television mystic’s house as a special treat by family friend Phil Ward, a friend of Uri Geller. Mr Ward claims to have met Mr Geller after sending him a psychic message using a special orange energy dot he bought from the mystic’s merchandising.
Mr Ward of Lovel Road, Chalfont St Peter, said: “I put my hand on the dot and sent him a message.”
“Uri phoned me up seven days later at my home to say he got it. We’ve kept in touch ever since.”
Jamie, nine, of Lovel Road, Chalfont St Peter, spent a day at Mr Geller’s home in Sonning-on-Thames with his mum Paula, his sister Cara, 11, and Mr. Ward.
Jamie said: “It was really good. He showed us all around his house and tried bending my metal crutch with his mind.”
His mum said Mr Geller put his hand on Jamie’s hip and tried to make it better using his healing powers.
She said: “He doesn’t seem to ache as much now and he’s not using his crutches as much.”
Now Jamie plans to keep in touch with Mr Geller, who told him he could call whenever he wants.
