Uri plays his mind games at the Union
SOME SAY it’s magic, others say a load of rubbish, but students at the Oxford Union have been given the chance to make up their own minds about the powers of Uri Geller.
The man famous for astonishing scientists with the power of his mind came to the Union on Monday night to try and convince everyone of his extraordinary gifts.
Many members of the audience were sceptical scientists and had come along to see what all the fuss has been about.
But President of the Oxford Union, Theo Mills, watched Mr Geller’s performance and said when the audience were all holding spoons and concentrating the power of their minds onto them the non-believers were forced to think again.
He said: “It really was amazing. I normally think this kind of thing is a load of rubbish, but I really think there was something of the paranormal kind at work.”
