KASHMIR HOSTAGES
A psychic has offered to help negotiate the freedom of four Western hostages seized in northern India. Uri Geller’s offer comes after diplomats and Indian negotiators failed to secure the release of the tourists kidnapped by a secessionist group in 1995. The kidnappers, who initially demanded to exchange the hostages for jailed comrades, have also ignored appeals by the relatives of the hostages.
