Your age in 2011 = 111 or 11

A few months ago I wrote about 11-11 again, discussing all of the instances of 11 that have been happening in my life, but also globally – and since this article I have been bombarded with more emails from people all over the world who are noticing the 11-11 phenomenon.

To remind you of some of the significant 11-11 references from recent history:

World War I formally ended at the 11th hour (11AM) of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 – which is why Remembrance Day is 11.11.

The date Berlin wall came down 11.11.89

The last surviving English world war one soldier to have fought in the trenches,  Harry Patch, passed away as the worlds third oldest man, and the oldest man in Europe.  He was 111 years and 38 days. 3+8 = 11.

First telephone call by Alexander G. Bell – 11th March 1876. 1+8+7+6 = 22, which is 11+11

One of the first solar eclipses in the 20th century, was on 11.11 1901, and lasted 11 minutes & 1 second, and the last ever total eclipse of the 20th century was  on the 11th of August, 1999,
had a magnitude of 1.029. (2+9 = 11)  and was at it’s fullest in the UK at  11:11.

Construction of the Pentagon began (the ground breaking ceremony) September 11th, 1941
State of New York – 11th State added to the Union

The World Trade Center was built from 1966 to 1977… taking 11 years.

1111 x 1111 = 1234321.  1234321 is representative of a pyramid, and t11 is a sacred number of the great pyramid, with the proportions of the great pyramid being of the ratio 7:11.

And we could just keep on going, finding references of 11 throughout the past and present, it’s bizarre, it’s amazing – and more people are beginning to notice it. See my 1111 page for many more incredible 11 11 occurrences.

I get so many emails about the 11 11 phenomenon, but one which recently jumped out at me as being particularly intriguing, is to do with your age in 2011.

1:Take the year that you were born, just the last two digits.

2:Take the age that you will be, or were, on your birthday this year.

3:Add these two numbers together.

If you’re aged 11 or below, the result of this calculation is 11. If you’re aged over 11, the result of this calculation is 111

This works for every living person on the planet!

So in 2011, everyone on the planet gets the figure 11 or 111 when adding their year of birth to their age in 2011.

I’m no mathematician, and I’m sure there is a mathematical explanation for this, but it doesn’t stop it from being another incredible instance of 11 cropping up on a global scale.

Update: 11/02/11 – Today after 30 years in office, Hosni Mubarak stepped down as president of Egypt. Given that protesters have been demonstrating for a long time, and that he was due to step down the previous day – isn’t it strange that he waited until 11-02-11 to step down? Add to this, that there were 11 days of serious protests leading up to his resignation, and at the time of the announcement,  Egypt is currently ranked 111 on the list of countries by Human Development Index. I am quite sure that if we investigate further we will find many other 11 references!
