Say them as ‘Sigh’ and ‘Oh-MAY-guh’.) ‘Psi’ gives us words like psychic, psyche and psychology. ‘Omega’ conjures up images of hidden codes and secret societies. The truth is these concepts are two sides of the same coin, symbolising knowledge we don’t possess yet. I can never decide which is more exciting – probing the mysteries of the world around me, or exploring the secrets of my own mind
